About

What is Gatelit?

A data platform that makes Google Discover performance measurable, interpretable, and directly connected to content decisions, built for editorial teams and SEO practitioners.

Why Gatelit exists

Google Discover is a meaningful traffic channel for publishers, but it is also poorly understood. Search Console shows Discover data at site level. There is no article-level view, no signal classification, and no connection between what the data says and what the team should do next.

Traditional SEO tools were designed for keyword rank tracking and backlink analysis. They were not built for Discover, and their metrics do not translate to the editorial decisions that Discover performance actually requires.

Gatelit fills this gap. Search Console integration, article-level Discover reporting, signal interpretation, brief generation, and title testing, in one platform, connected to each other.

Our product promise

We make your Discover visibility measurable, optimisable, and connected to how your team produces content.

Not “we will get you into Discover.” Discover eligibility depends on content quality, entity clarity, and signal history. What we can do is give your team a clear view of where you stand and what the data suggests you do next.

Data source

Google Search Console, read-only OAuth. No other data sources. No third-party panels.

How it works

From raw GSC data to editorial action

01

Connect Search Console

Read-only OAuth. We request the minimum scopes needed to pull Discover data from your properties.

02

Extract article-level signals

GSC Discover data arrives at site level. We surface it at article level, giving each piece of content its own impression, CTR, and position history.

03

Classify signal patterns

Impressions up, CTR down. Position slipping. New query cluster forming. Each pattern maps to a distinct editorial meaning, not a generic alert.

04

Surface editorial actions

The platform presents a prioritised action for each article: test the headline, expand the brief, refresh the intro, or monitor and wait.

Principles

What we believe about good tooling

Your data, interpreted

Gatelit reads from your Search Console connection, read-only OAuth. We do not generate content or invent metrics. Everything you see comes from your own GSC data.

No fake benchmarks

We do not show you industry averages that have no connection to your publication. Every signal, score, and recommendation is grounded in your own performance history.

Decisions, not dashboards

Raw numbers are not decisions. Gatelit adds an interpretation layer: signal pattern → editorial meaning → recommended action. The team always makes the call.

Built for editorial workflows

Not for SEO agencies chasing rank, but for editorial and content teams who need to understand which content is working on Discover, why, and what to do about it.

Who it is for

Built for teams that publish content at scale

Editorial teams

Editors and content leads who need to know which articles are gaining or losing Discover distribution, and what to do about it, without digging through raw Search Console exports.

SEO practitioners

SEOs working with publishers who want to add Discover analytics to their reporting workflow and connect Discover performance to concrete editorial recommendations.

Newsrooms

Fast-moving teams who need to know which topics are rising on Discover right now, which articles are at risk, and which can be expanded before the window closes.

Try it with your own data

Connect your Search Console property and see your Discover performance at article level. Free to start, no credit card required.
